The Medical Sales Club at Carolina prepares students for careers in medical sales by connecting them with industry professionals, teaching the healthcare terminology the field requires, and giving them hands-on practice with real-world sales scenarios.

Our meetings are built around three things. We bring in medical sales representatives to talk about what the job is really like, how they got started, and what it takes to succeed. Every meeting starts with a “Word of the Meeting,” where members learn a new medical or industry term. And through mock sales, members practice pitching products and handling the kinds of questions and pushback reps hear from doctors every day, building up to a sales competition in the spring.

You don’t need to be a business major or have any experience to join. Whether you study biology, exercise science, public health, communication, or anything else, if you’re curious about medical sales, we’d love to have you!
