Brazilian Student Association at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

The primary purpose of BRASA at UNC Chapel Hill is to establish long-lasting relationships between the Brazilian students at our university as well as with BRASA students of other universities in the United States. Together, all American BRASA organizations foster a "home away from home" environment that offers support and community for incoming Brazilian college students who choose to study within the United States. The goals of BRASA are to promote Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language, provide assistance with the application process for prospective students , organize events and panels within the BRASA community as well as with other Local BRASAs (both regional and national), and to ultimately offer networking opportunities, including professional and academic exchange programs with leading Brazilian institutions.
