Senior Tech Support at Carolina is a student-led organization that provides free, one-on-one technology assistance to older adults in retirement communities in the Chapel Hill and Cary area. We visit retirement communities and help residents with any technology questions or issues they may have. We currently work with three retirement communities: Azalea Gracious Living, The Cedars of Chapel Hill, and Searstone Retirement Community in Cary. Some examples of issues we help with include connecting Bluetooth devices such as Apple Watches and hearing aids, learning basic smartphone functions, resetting forgotten passwords, setting up new devices, making international calls to family members, fixing TVs and charger issues, and much more.
