Body Empowerment Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to decreasing eating disorder risk in adolescents by equipping them with the skills to live peacefully and healthfully in their bodies through meaningful, near-peer interactions. To achieve this mission, Body Empowerment Project leads educational workshops for middle school, high school, and college students.

Body Empowerment Project at UNC-Chapel Hill aims to reduce eating disorder risk in college students at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill by hosting interactive workshops which minimize key risk factors for eating disorders while building protective strategies. Additionally, BEP UNC-CH aims to educate the Chapel Hill community about eating disorders and their prevention, as well as fundraise for Body Empowerment Project.
