As UNC's only student-run virtual exchange organization, WorldMates pairs UNC students with peers around the world through a semester-long virtual exchange designed to build friendship and foster meaningful cross-cultural dialogue. Participants meet twice a month over video to share experiences, practice languages, and learn about each other’s daily lives, education systems, traditions, and perspectives. Currently, we partner with schools across the Middle East and East Asia, and are expanding to other regions. Join us to broaden your global awareness and make a friend abroad!
