Women in Pre-Med, Inc. at UNC-Chapel Hill

This organization was created to provide a supportive and empowering community for women pursuing pre-med and pre-health tracks at Carolina. Recognizing the lack of spaces where women in STEM and healthcare pathways can feel truly seen, encouraged, and connected, the club aims to bridge that gap by fostering collaboration over competition. It serves as a space where members can build meaningful relationships, share resources, and navigate the challenges of rigorous academic and career paths together.

Through mentorship opportunities, study groups, guest speaker events, and discussions centered on wellness and balance, the organization helps women feel more confident, capable, and connected in their journey toward healthcare careers. Above all, it’s about cultivating a community that uplifts and empowers women to thrive academically, professionally, and personally, while transforming the experience of what it means to be a woman in pre-med at Carolina.
