Our purpose is to expose medical students to the specialty of wilderness medicine. Since wilderness medicine is not commonly taught or practiced in this area, this group equips students with skills to practice medicine where access to care is limited. We intend to fulfill this vision through seminars, workshops, speakers, skill practice, and collaboration with local EMS groups (both the campus group and the local EMS squad.)
This club is open to join to UNC medical students only.
