Undergraduate Pediatric Society at UNC-CH

Undergraduate Pediatric Society is a community that is open to all undergraduates at the University of North Carolina, regardless of age or major choice. As a society, our hope is to foster a community that inspires an academic and feasible pursuit of pediatrics. This will be achieved by exposing pre-health students to experience in hospital pediatric wards, the nuances of a pediatrician's day to day life, networking with trained professionals, and communication with patients. Additionally, UPS is dedicated to uplifting driven volunteers by providing experiences to help organizations who benefit children in underserved areas. Our goal as a society is to equip every member with meaningful bedside manner and a greater understanding of their goals in the medical field.
