Undergraduate AMWA Branch at UNC Chapel Hill

By establishing an undergraduate branch at UNC, we hope to create a space for like-minded women who wish to take an active role in mentoring younger women while also offering the opportunity to form relationships with those further along in the field, such as medical students and physicians. Further, we hope to establish a mentorship program with UNC Medical School’s AMWA branch. The primary goal of this organization is to offer resources, knowledge, connections, and a network of students in order to empower women to enter medicine and develop their own personal journey to medical school.
