UNC-CH Ski-Snowboard Team - Competitive

The UNC Ski and Snowboard team is a group of students that compete in Alpine and Freestyle events during the first 5 weekends of the spring semester. During the competitive season, we travel to ski resorts in Western North Carolina and Virginia and compete against other schools in the Southeast Conference. At the end of the season, we attend USCSA Regionals and Nationals which are typically farther away, at larger resorts, against a wider variety of schools. We use the fall and later on in the spring semester to throw fun parties, have potluck-style events, and practice on our summer setup (come check it out, it's lit). You DO NOT have to compete. This team offers students the ability to progress in the sport while also catering to members who just want to hang out in Chapel Hill.

Open Membership/ Join at any time before USCSA application deadline (late fall) and make sure to stay up to date on our GroupMe and listserv updates

Dues: $60 dues annually. If you want to attend the race weekends, USCSA registration flat fee of $20, plus an additional $150-175 per race weekend
