Partners in Health Engage at UNC-CH is part of the grassroots activism arm of the international Partners in Health organization. Partners in Health seeks to strengthen healthcare systems around the work and is currently active in 10 countries. PIH-Engage is centered around education and advocacy for the right to health movement including collaboration with professors and professionals in global health, membership in the national PIH organization, speaking with policymakers, and organizing community education and fundraising events.
Our chapter is divided into three committees: advocacy, fundraising, and community-building. If you are interested in joining us to fight for health as a human right on any one of these committees, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at gpugh@unc.edu
