UNC-CH Mens Club Basketball

Club basketball provides an alternative for students interested in a competitive league play, to play outside UNC against other colleges. Club basketball provides students an opportunity to play competitively against local colleges and against out of state colleges in various tournaments that occur throughout the year.

Club basketball provides an excellent opportunity to promote physical fitness on campus as well as increase knowledge of the game of basketball. Enlightened leadership will be developed through an executive council whose leadership will extend beyond the basketball court throughout the campus and local community. The personal integrity of Mens Club Basketball as well each individual member will be a top priority, and the club and its members will be expected to represent the university and its student body in an appropriate manner. Club basketball enhances the general quality of life by not only providing an exciting basketball team to watch, but also through involvement and service within the campus community.

Men’s Club Basketball was founded in the fall of 2007, to allow for more organized basketball competition among men in the school and surrounding schools.
