Black Arts Collective

The Black Arts Collective is a student-led organization that provides a space for individuals to create, analyze, and appreciate various forms of art through the African American perspective. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where artists can collaborate, connect with peers who share similar interests, and explore new artistic practices. We seek to provide opportunities for students to discover and engage with diverse forms of art, particularly those rooted in African American culture.

BlackLens strives to offer a platform for students to showcase their talents, network with others passionate about fine arts, and critically engage with Black-made art through analysis, discussion, and performance. We will serve as an educational environment for those who are new to the arts, offering events and workshops that allow students to learn about and explore various art forms, so don’t worry about previous experience!
