The BGSA’s mission is to serve as a liaison between graduate students, the Biology Department leadership, and the University administration to advocate for student interests, needs, and concerns, promote professional development, and maintain high academic integrity. Additionally, we aim to foster communication, collaboration, and collegiality among students and faculty by facilitating social and professional connections across biological disciplines. Overall, the BGSA is a voice and support system for students to improve their experience in the Department of Biology.
