Jewish students of all backgrounds come to UNC Hillel to make friends in a warm, accepting environment and to explore what being Jewish means to them. For some students, it’s the first time they have a Jewish role model. For others, it’s the first time they’re exploring their Judaism on their own terms. All UNC students are welcome to attend our events, meals and hang out in the building.
There are approximately 1000 Jewish students at UNC Chapel Hill (about 5% of the student population).
