The mission of Triangle Brain Bee is to engage local high school students in mentoring relationships with scholars at local universities and inspire curiosity about the neurosciences.
Triangle Brain Bee is a local chapter of the International Brain Bee, hosted and run at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The International Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for high schoolers aimed at motivating teenagers to learn about the brain and pursue neuroscience-related careers. Our chapter aims to serve students from local high schools, specifically targeting underserved high schools and communities. This organization will recruit and tutor high school students on neuroscience-related topics and then host an annual Brain Bee competition.
