The Tarpeggios, affectionately known around campus as the Tarps, is a mixed-voice a cappella group and a distinct part of Carolina’s a cappella community. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and supportive space where people come together to create music and find family. We enjoy performing around campus and the Triangle, and competing in the annual International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. Our dedication and unique artistic style has found competitive success at this championship in recent years, as we placed second at the ICCA South Semifinal competition in 2021 and first at the ICCA South Quarterfinals in both 2022 and 2024.
