Our mission is to build a community and provide a support network for the sapphic community of the University of North Carolina. This includes women and non-binary individuals who love women. We welcome those who identify as WLW, NBLW, lesbians, bisexual, pansexual, queer, questioning, or any other label under the sapphic umbrella. The Sewing Circle is a space for sapphics to be themselves, meet others in the community, talk about issues relating to LGBT+ identity, reach out for support, and have fun in a welcoming space.
