Made up of the Grimes, Manly, Mangum, and Ruffin Jr. residence halls, Olde Campus Upper Quad is a very popular community both for its close proximity to classes and historical feel. Students living in OCUQ have plenty of space to spend time outdoors, with both close proximity to McCorkle Place and the community sporting a quad of its own. These areas are perfect for hosting community events, studying on picnic blankets, or talking with friends, giving OCUQ a tight-knit feel complimented perfectly by the quieter indoor environment. Those looking to explore Chapel Hill are also in luck - OCUQ is within minutes of Franklin Street and has a bus stop right out front to take you wherever you need to go.
