The National Society of Black Women in Medicine is a national organization aiming to increase the retention and recruitment of black women pursuing a career in the medical field and medical sciences, while supporting those already established in these fields. Members will get the opportunity to engage in activities geared towards helping them achieve success as a pre-healthcare student at UNC. Activities include skill-building/certification workshops, fun events, guest speakers, panels, community service, and mentorship programs.
