The G Day at Carolina

Mission Statement

The G Day at Carolina is a place for friendship, freedom, and community. The G Day team aims to offer unforgettable experiences, promote The G House mission, and recruit direct support professionals (DSPs). We aim to provide high-quality, enjoyable experiences for individuals with disabilities as they engage in community activities. We strive to highlight and support the mission of The G House, bringing awareness to our vision and plans for expansion. We work to attract and recruit people into the DSP field in an engaging and enjoyable manner.

Background

The G Day at Carolina stems from the existing and developing initiative called The G Day. The G Day is an organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities attend sporting events and other community activities with the assistance of peers, while bringing attention to the mission of The G House, an independent living community for people with disabilities, and recruiting direct support professionals (DSP), individuals who provide care and support to people with disabilities.
